“Native Organizers Alliance Action Fund is proud to endorse Peggy Flanagan for the U.S. Senate. During her time as Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, she has proven to be an effective and committed leader who brings people together to get things done.
As Lieutenant Governor, Peggy brought tribes and underserved communities to the table as part of Minnesota’s first People of Color and Indigenous Caucus. The caucus provided the kind of representation we need to ensure that our Native communities aren’t forgotten when policies are made. Her ongoing commitment to addressing the many disparities that exist in Indian Country and communities of color is what is needed to address the ongoing barrage of federal cuts.
